Our client is private 70m+ Sailing Yacht with a busy charter schedule, 2016, planned. They are looking for a deckhand with previous sailing experience to join their team.
The Role
The position will see you participating in the following:
- Carrying out day to day duties as assigned by the Captain/Chief Officer.
- Ensuring all safety, operational and commercial procedures are followed.
- Tender driving and water sports.
- Assisting on deck with other duties as required, including working aloft.
The Person
The ideal candidate for this position will be an enthusiastic quick learner with the following qualifications:
- STCW
- ENG 1
- Previous yacht based experience (1-2 seasons)
- Powerboat and PWC Qualifications
- Experience with sail repairs and splicing
The Reward

Certificates and Qualifications
Mandatory STCW certificates are required from all applicants.
