We have partnered with a Global Oil and Gas Industry leader that is looking for a Project Manager.

The Project Manager position will be based in Houston.

Responsibilities of the Project Manager position:

  • Manage the bid process and make sure that Tender deadlines are met
  • Identify and assess potential Risk and Opportunity
  • Managing all aspects of the individual project contract requirements to ensure contract deliverables are adequately addressed and closed out at project completion

  • * Develop and Managing the project to a Schedule, Timeline, or list of Project Milestones depending on Project requirements and Management directive
  • Managing the HSE and Quality aspects of a project so that the project results are satisfactory and meet corporate and client expectations
  • Supporting, complying with, and participating in company HSE Program
  • Managing the human resources involved in the successful Management of a Project.
  • Managing the communications and project interfaces to see that the appropriate parties are kept informed and have sufficient information to assess project success.
  • Ensure Project Compliance with all relevant Quality standards to include Reporting, Cost Tracking, Reporting, Services, and Materials.
  • Supporting and participating in the organization's Continual Improvement Program to conform to ISO 9001 requirements by complying with Quality Policies and Procedures and meeting Quality Objectives
  • Participate in Management Site Visits as required
  • Have fundamental knowledge of Project Management processes in both the Gulf of Mexico and International Marine Construction and Decommissioning markets
  • Participate in ongoing Training and Mentorship programs
  • Performing other job duties as assigned

 

Education and Licences/Certifications for the Project Manager position:

Bachelor's degree in Petroleum, Civil, Mechanical, or Construction Management or other related Engineering field (or equivalent industry experience) and a minimum of 5 - 10 years of experience managing offshore installation or decommissioning projects.

PMP and PE certification are highly desired.

Knowledge and Skills required for the Project Manager position:

  • Knowledge of Well Control and P and A Operations, Wireline, Pumping, C/T, Wellheads, Downhole Equipment a must.
  • Knowledge of Marine Vessels, Pipelines, and Marine construction and Decommissioning a plus
  • CAD Experience preferred
  • It is preferred that the candidate be willing to undertake international travel, and speak several languages.
  • This job requires travelling within the 48 contiguous states and internationally
  • This job requires periodic visits offshore, often via Helicopter and requires that a candidate must be able to complete HUET training.
