2nd Engineer

The Company
Our client is private, new build, 50m+ yacht with a busy schedule of worldwide cruising planned. They are looking for a hands on 2nd Engineer to join there team.

The Role
The position will see you participating in the following:
- Carrying out day to day duties as assigned by the Chief Engineer and/or Captain.
- Ensuring all safety, operational and commercial procedures are followed.
- Preparing the yacht for the cruising ahead.

The Person
The ideal candidate for this position will be an enthusiastic quick learner with the following qualifications:
- EOOW Unlimited or a Y3
- Current ENG 1
- A Hands on approach to the work
- Previous yacht based experience is an asset
- Good working knowledge of AV/IT Equipment
