Quantity Surveyor (Contract)

We are working with the ADNOC group, the national oil company for the UAE. The group encompasses a number of entities covering all aspects of Oil & Gas from E&P to Refining, Distribution and Retail, operating some of the largest projects in the market.

Due to continued success and high levels of activity, two Quantity Surveyors are required to join Abu Dhabi Gas Liquefaction Company (ADGAS), a major and growing part ADNOC and the regional market leader in LNG and LPG production.

The successful applicant will be contract based, working on the company site at Das Island, offshore Abu Dhabi. This will be a rotational position (35/28) with all accommodation and messing provided whilst on Das Island.

Main duties will include;

• Bearing responsibility for quantity estimation duties on a maintenance project, including all preparatory work and bill of quantities
• Carrying out verification of actual quantities to review contractor estimates and bills
• Verifying quantity and progress estimates of contractors
• Maintenance of detailed database, electronic files, access to drawings,
• Development and implementation of QS methodology for site to follow

Experience in a similar role on large scale projects is required. In addition, candidates will require a degree or diploma from an accredited establishment in a relevant subject.
