Technical Superintendent

Technical Superintendent - expat in Brunei

Our client is a leading international offshore marine organisation. Due to dynamic growth we are looking for a Technical Superintendent (Vessel Manager) to join its dynamic team to ensure that owned vessels are properly maintained. This position would be based in Brunei

The chosen candidate will be in charge of technical management for fleet vessels to ensure their safety operations. He or she will be the first point of contact for all shipboard management issues and to provide timely support and solutions according to the safety and quality management system.

Candidate requirements:

• Chief Engineer Class 1 or a Master's Certificate or mechanical/ electrical degree
• At least 5 years of experience in marine engineering/ shipbuilding engineering field
• Basic knowledge of ISM code and familiar with cummins marine engines
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
• Offshore experience in AHTS, OSV or any offshore supply or multipurpose vessels
• Previous experience as a Technical Superintendent/ Vessel manager
