We are the global leader in Oil and Gas recruitment and consulting, providing our clients with permanent and project based solutions. We employ a team of 140 professionals globally with operations in the United Kingdom, Singapore, and the United States (Houston and Florida). We have partnered with a high technology company that is looking for a Sales Manager to join their team. The Sales Manager will provide their customers with innovative, integrated, advanced technology solutions to enable them to more effectively manage their fluid assets

Responsibilities for the Sales Manager include:

  • Create, and follow up on new accounts with in your assigned territory.
  • Manage territory expenses in accordance with company policies.
  • Gain a strong technical understanding of company products as well as working collaboratively with the technical support functions/departments to give exceptional customer care.
  • Attend industry trade shows as directed.
  • Provide hands on training to accounts as requested.
  • Manage travel schedule effectively.
  • While working with the Sales, Marketing and Service Manager, oversee the development, management, and nurturing of new business accounts within the assigned accounts, to accomplish profit and revenue goals.
  • Maintain contacts and relations with major accounts, vendors of third party products, and distributors/dealers/repair shops.
  • Prepare budgets, reports and forecasts and ensure they are presented in a timely manner to the Sales, Marketing and Service Manager. This includes regular reports on the progress of achieving sales revenue/profit objectives.
  • Assist with controlling and monitoring sales methods, key customer strategies and arrangements, by recommending prices, discount policies, credit arrangements, and conditions of sale.

Requirements for the Sales Manager are as follows:

  • 5+ years of sales or technical experience in the transportation, oil field or similar related industry
  • Technical background in Instrumentation or related field.
  • Bachelor's Degree in business or related field of education preferred but not required.
  • Formal Sales training.
  • Sound business acumen
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to cultivate strategic customer relationships and ensure that the customer perspective is the driving force behind all value-added sales activities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office programs.
