Senior LNG Engineer

We have partnered with a Global Oil and Gas Industry leader that is looking for a Senior LNG Engineer to add to their team. The Senior LNG Engineer will provide expertise, guidance, and coordination on the execution of clients' projects. The Manager will work with the Director Business Development to deliver high-quality studies, reports, risk assessments, and analysis that meet clients' expectations.

The Senior LNG Engineer will be responsible for the following:

• Identify re­sources to plan and execute onshore and offshore LNG and FLNG import, export, bunkering, power, and high-horsepower application projects.
• Manage multiple projects and teams to meet customer requirements.
• Provide consulting services to external design engineers.
• Conduct risk assessment for LNG facilities.
• Develop the knowledge and skills of LNG others to ensure operational excellence.
• Develop a network of LNG shipping contacts.
• Identify and implement best practices to internal and external resources.

Qualified Senior LNG Engineer candidates will possess the following:

Four year degree in Maritime or Engineering

• Minimum of 10 years of proven marine experience preferably with LNG or LPG vessels.
• Previous project management experience preferably in the LNG import/export terminal development.
• Have knowledge of LNG industry requirements developed by industry bodies.
• Extremely well organized, and adept at organizing the activities of others.
• Proficient with computers, both in preparing presentations and communications.
• Excellent communicator both to the operations team and to management.
• Must have the ability to work on a team and lead a team with tact and diplomacy.
