Business Analyst, Operations

We employ a team of 140 professionals globally with operations in the United Kingdom, Singapore, and the United States (Houston and Florida). We have partnered with a Global Oil and Gas Industry leader that is looking for a Business Analyst, Operation position.

Responsibilities:

• Work with department staffs to integrate new property acquisitions into the company's software systems.
• Coordinate data processing tasks between systems.
• Provide guidance to staff regarding proper operation and configuration of systems.
• Develop procedures to properly use systems.
• Document and provide feedback in compliance with company SOX policies.
• Train office and field staff in use of systems.
• Develop & prepare reports for management.
• Work on special projects as necessary.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

The knowledge, skills, and abilities required for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Undergraduate degree, or 10 years of relevant experience in the oil & gas industry.
• 5+ years' experience administering Merrick's ProCount, eViN, and Carte products is required.
• SQL knowledge including writing queries and running reports is required.
• This position required the ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with periodic evening and weekend work as required.
• Must have excellent written and oral communications skills.
• Must exhibit attention to detail.
• Must be able to handle multiple projects, and work under pressure.
• Must be organized, self-motivated, and able to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office.
