HSEQ Director (Subsea)

This is an excellent opportunity to join an international organisation that provides a range of specialist, underwater operating and engineering services. Reporting to the Managing Director this successful candidate can be located in either Glasgow or Aberdeen.

Responsibilities include:

* Provide support and ensure legal, statutory and procedural compliance for all Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality aspects.
* Provide effective HSEQ management and support to all Operational Divisions, Companies and Support Services under the Global HSEQ System.
* Responsible for the Management of certification to ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 14001 (Environment) and OHSAS 18001 (Health & Safety)
* Act as senior representative for the company advising and managing interaction with HSE and regulatory agencies
* Approve and plan Quality and Safety audit schedules in accordance and in line with the requirements of all approvals and accreditations held, including all supplier audits.
* Assist and advise Directors and operational teams on Risk Assessments and safe systems of work as required.

Experience Required:

* 10 years HSEQ management experience.
* NEBOSH General Certificate.
* Degree in Quality, HSE or Engineering.
* Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
* Risk Assessor.
* Lead Auditor QA, HSE.
* ISM Code internal Auditor.
* Understanding of ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.
* Ability to work effectively within a team structure, accept and understand management instruction manage own timescales and specified timescales effectively. Excellent attention to detail.
* Experience of working in marine/ diving or manufacturing.
* Understanding of UK HSE Legislation
