Drilling Supervisor

We are working with the ADNOC group of companies, the national oil company for the UAE. Due to on-going operational requirements and expansions, Drilling Supervisors are required urgently, and will operate both onshore and offshore areas around Abu Dhabi.

The job holder will be primarily responsible for providing on site leadership and supervision of all drilling, completions and well intervention activities, ensuring the safe and efficient running of the company drilling program.

The Job Holder will be required to
-Operate in strict compliance with HSE policies, standards, procedures and relevant regulatory requirements, bearing responsibility for the supervision of safe activity.
-Oversee and be responsible for rig moves, site emergency planning, reporting of well site activity, accident and near miss investigation and risk assessment
-Be the primary contact for drilling contractors, ensuring 3rd party personnel act in a timely and safe manner in line with company policy
-Provide guidance to junior staff in the department

This role offers the right person an exciting opportunity to work with a renowned, market leading NOC, working on some of the most advanced projects in the market. As such, a solid and extensive history in Onshore and Offshore Drilling operations, including supervisory experience at a senior level. The successful applicant will be able to call upon a wealth of experience in drilling safety compliance, fundamentals of drilling technology including knowledge of Drilling Information Management System (DIMS), well control and BOP.
