On behalf of a vessel owner, operating in Europe, Faststream are recruiting for a Marine Engineers position to work on an crew transfer vessel in Germany.

The role…

This is a long term/permanent contract with a flexible start date. You must have extensive experience, ideally over 5 years, as a marine engineer to be considered for this role.

Rotations will involve 4 days based in the UK office and 10 days on the vessel (14/14 days). You will assist current crew members on board and help to maintain and fix any outstanding defects.

A right to work in the EU is essential for this role - applications without will not be considered

The ideal candidate would meet the following requirements:

Chief Engineer COC - an advantage
Valid Medical
STCW basic certificates
Previous experience as a marine engineer
Knowledge of marine engines, fuel and control systems
Knowledge of Electrical systems
Knowledge of Air-Conditioning systems

This role offers a long term contract with a day rate around £200 depending on experience.
