Accountant

We have partnered with a Global Oil and Gas Industry leader that is looking for an Accountant to be responsible for all relevant tasks and closeouts therein.

• Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of period close, required reports, and journal entries to create and support processes that meet required company deadlines.
• Create and enter Journal Entries (JEs) with supporting backup.
• File all JEs in accordance with policy.
• Assist with inter company transactions according to company codes for reporting
• Prepare monthly reconciliations
• Analyze the balance sheet and all reconciling items on a timely basis to determine root cause and provide corrective action.
• Audit inventory and provide recommendations for process improvements.
• Drive effective accounting solutions that improve the company?s standard of excellence.
• Assist in closing out of manufacturing jobs
• Support the inventory reconciliations
• Assist with analyzing financial statements on a monthly basis and report on variances
