IT Systems Engineer (Contract)

We have partnered with a Global Company who is in need of an IT Systems Engineer to work in their office in Northeast Houston. This person will act as an interface between IT and internal customers/external suppliers. The ideal candidate will be a very well-rounded IT support professional with additional networking and server hardware knowledge.

We will need the Systems Engineer to be responsible for:

• Day to day operations of the service desk/administrator functions. This includes call handling, incident management, access management, event management and request fulfilment.
• Delivery of first and second level support to internal and external customers.
• Contribute to regional and global IT initiatives and projects as required by IT and business.

We will need the Systems Engineer to have the following requirements:

• 8+ years working experience in Service and Support functions of information technology.
• Foundation certifications in ITIL.
• Experience working in global context.
• Portuguese/Brazilian language is a plus.

This person must have a desire to learn and get involved in new and novel areas. This is necessary for success with Faststream and our client.
