Offshore Engineering Consultant

We have partnered with a Global Oil and Gas Industry leader that is looking for an Offshore Engineering Consultant to be responsible for full project life cycle management.

The Offshore Engineering Consultant position will be based in Houston.

Responsibilities for the Offshore Engineering Consultant:

• Prepare engineering designs in accordance with national and international design standards for LNG and Oil Terminals in ports and harbors on US and International projects.
• Liaise with client technical representatives for the production of engineering designs for US and International projects.
• Develop the technical skills in the company office to reflect those of the wider company in the fields of specialist structural and civil engineering in regards to specific energy projects.
• Monitor projects progress and deliverables.

Requirements for the Offshore Engineering Consultant:

• Bachelors Degree in Civil or Ocean Engineering; Masters Degree with an Ocean Engineering focus; PE or Chartered Engineer preferred.
• Minimum of seven years of Ocean Engineering Design Experience; Latin and/or South American experience is a plus.
• Experience in LNG Terminal or Oil Terminal design.
