Our client is one of the leading heavy lift carriers worldwide, with headquarters in Germany and several global offices. They specialise in transportation of heavy lift cargo, own and operate a fleet of modern heavy lift vessels with a lifting capacity of up to 2,000 mtons SWL and a service speed of 20 knots. These vessels serve a highly specialised market with challenging transportation needs.
To assist our Marine HSSE and Quality team in our headquarters, we are looking for a HSEQ PROJECT ADVISOR
Your responsibilities:
*Managing HSEQ requirements for projects and preparation of Project HSEQ Plans;
*Provide day to day support during the tendering activities including providing the required information and completing RFQs from clients;
*Attending/ chairing risk assessments & HAZIDs, developing risk assessments;
*Provide support to project team and vessel crew in the effective implementation of project HSE plans and risk control measures;
*Work as interface between our client and their clients for HSEQ matters;
*Provide support to the update and maintenance of the HSEQ Integrated Management System;
*Undertake auditing in line with ISO/OHSAS standards;
*Help foster and develop the Safety Culture the business;
Your qualications:
*NEBOSH certificate or Diploma preferably or a degree in Occupational Safety & Health or other HSEQ related discipline is a plus, as is post graduate qualifications;
*Minimum experience of 5 years in a HSEQ Project Advisor position;
*Experience in Vessel Operations, investigation and root cause analysis techniques;
*Experience in ISO and OHSAS Management Systems and auditing;
*Experience in developing HSEQ Project Management Plans and the implementation;
*Experience in the Offshore Industry, Oil and Gas or Wind would be highly beneficial;
*Ability to work independently and structured, also under pressure;
*Highly motivated, flexible and team player;
*Fluency in verbal and written English;
*Advanced computer skills in MS Office Package.
