Tug Mate

Introduction
International Opportunity Abu Dhabi Tug Mate required to assist Tug Master in the berthing and un-berthing of vessels arriving at or leaving the port assisting in the day to day maintenance of the Tug Boat while implementing total compliance with the Safety Management System in accordance with company wide safety and environmental protection policy.

Minimum Requirements:
Master Foreign Going Class 1 Regulation II / 2
Valid STCW Certification
2 Years Experience as Harbour Tug Master or in a Senior Position on-board Off-Shore Tankers

The Tug Mate has to be very conscious of ensuring the safety of all equipment and people while berthing and un-berthing vessels without incident or delay.

There must be no ambiguity in the implementation of orders received and work must be carried out effectively and on time.
The Tug Mate must take all actions to ensure optimum operational status of vessels are achieved and maintained.
