Marine Engineer/Specialist (Contract)

Our client is the overseas arm of the NOC of KSA, Saudi Aramco, working with EPCs and contractors globally on the design and construction of projects to be undertaken in the kingdom.

A Gothenburg based EPC company have been awarded a contract to maintain and upgrade the company fleet of support and production vessels, and as such are looking for a PMC level Marine Specialist to act as the point of expertise on the Project Management Team (PMT)

Throughout the project, the job holder will be providing the necessary technical and project expertise to procure these different vessels based on client specified requirements and needs, preparing technical specifications and evaluating the different proven designs available in the market.

Based on a long term contract of around 3 years, we are looking for a person capable of overseeing a design team on the EPC side, whilst being able to effectively interface with all relevant departments, keeping the scheduling plans realistic yet assertive, and reporting project progress to senior project management, who will often be high level Saudi Aramco staff.
