Topsides Project Manager

Our client, the operator of one of the largest dry dock facilities in the Middle East, is seeking a Topsides Project Manager to oversee all direction, coordination, implementation, execution and control of assigned projects, in line with company strategy and goals.

Reporting directly to the New Builds Department Manager, the job holder will be responsible for full project life cycle delivery, including planning and implementation, scheduling and timeline plans, tracking of deliverables and project resources, monitoring and reporting, and project close out.

As such, the role will require the supervision of a diverse work force, which will involve performance appraisals, employee development and control of man hours on site. This will be in tandem with project reporting, change management, definition of scope and deliverables, whilst ensuring high standards of customer satisfaction and HSE control.

Successful candidates will possess an Engineering Degree or equivalent, backed up with a solid background in management of projects in a new build shipyard. Knowledge of the local market alongside competencies in contracts management would also be highly desirable.
