The project department is searching for a commercial minded Project Manager preferably for the headquarters in Bremen, Germany.
The team consists out of an energetic and enthusiastic group of Project Managers and support staff.
Together with co-workers from Engineering, QHSE, Technical Department and Operations you will, as a team, be responsible to bring your project to successful completion.


The Company

Established in 2000 as a joint venture our client since November 2014 is now being responsible for all commercial areas and for the heavy lift technical aspects of a wider successful group of businesses such as: Project Engineering, Project Management and Logistics & Transportation.
Our client is one of the leading companies within worldwide ocean transportation of heavy lift and project cargoes. They are looking to expand into the offshore market and need an experienced candidate to help them do this.
Our fleet comprises modern heavy lifters with crane capacities up to 900 tons as well as the semisubmersible Dock ships.


The job

*develop turnkey solutions
*overall responsible for a project
*responsible for the Safe execution of the work, in accordance with the company and Clients QHSE standards and rulings
*manage and control all contractual, technical and operational issues
*issue and manage subcontracts for the work
*prepare and control the project budget
*responsible for the project planning
*manage procurement
*be the sole point of contact for the client and liaise with them on contractual, commercial and operational issues



Requested qualifications

*Bsc./Msc. degree (i.e. Mechanical, Civil or Offshore Engineering) and / or
*Min 8 years project management experience in the marine or offshore industry
*experience in the offshore oil and gas industry is essential
*preferable longtime experience within working in an EPC / EPIC company
*proven project management & commercial skills
*good knowledge of rules & regulations (applicable to offshore installation jobs)
*fully conversant in English (verbally and in writing)
*pro-active manager and a social team player with hands-on attitude
*analytical
*motivator and coach for the Project Team members
