Field Technician

We have partnered with a Global Oil and Gas Industry leader that is looking for a Field Technician.

The Field Technician position will be based in West Texas.

Responsibilities and Duties for the Field Technician:

• Work requirements include working at the gas processing plant, right-of-way maintenance, investigating encroachments, pigging operations, valve maintenance, and record keeping for the safe and compliant operations of the assets.
• Performs regularly scheduled inspections to detect malfunctions and assure the proper, safe and compliant operation of the plant and pipeline facilities.
• Performs minor repairs and troubleshoots and initiates work orders for necessary maintenance of equipment.
• Performs other activities as required by Operations Management.

Minimum Preferred Qualifications for the Field Technician:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in the areas of operations & maintenance of natural gas facilities.
• High School diploma required
• Valid Driver's License
• Good communicator, work planner with excellent work ethics and a good background in computer applications.
• Must be available for call-out rotation and emergencies.
