Vice President of Houston Operations

We have partnered with a Global Oil and Gas Industry leader that is looking for a Vice President of Operations - Houston.

Detailed Description of the Vice President of Operations - Houston:

The principal objective of the Vice President of Houston Operations is to ensure the efficient delivery of company's business in the Houston Office. This includes leading tactical business development and proposal preparation, coordinating resources, ensuring the effective delivery of all services to customers and providing local/regional leadership. The role reports to the Regional Director/President.

• Support the promotion of company as a leading provider of seamless SURF services to its key clients as a world-class niche provider of services
• Work with the Technology and Innovation Business Streams to ensure that all company work is effectively resourced, managed, and delivered.
• Profit and Loss accountability for the business in Houston, with the overall financial target of maximizing combined EBIT
• Hold and manage all transactional business through the local entities, including commercial contracts, employment contracts, leases, invoicing and due debt collection
• High level oversight/direction of resource deployment in Houston using Utilization Reports and Resource Planning
• Manage performance of all company SURF staff, setting budgets for Houston in conjunction with the RD and BM's input on Integrated scopes
• Manage the contractual governance process for Integrated business
• Effectively manage the Houston overheads within the business in consultation with the CFO and RD

• Deep understanding of the SURF Engineering & Management market

Qualifications and Experiences required for the Vice President of Operations - Houston:

• Proven track record of managerial success, as well as complete understanding of complex technical matters relative to operating companies and large engineering projects
• University degree in Engineering, Business or related field
• Minimum of 15 years of experience
