Planner/Scheduler (Contract)

We have partnered with a Global Oil and Gas Industry leader that is looking for a Planner/Scheduler with Subsea/Offshore experience.

The Planner/Scheduler position will be based in Houston.

Overview of the Planner/Scheduler postion:

• Coordinates, reviews, and prepares the plans and schedules for new or existing projects.
• Provides schedule impacts for changes.
• Incorporates engineering and field schedules into the performance measurement baseline.
• Provides earned value reporting and performance measurements.
• Provides man-hour and manpower figures and trends for cost analysis, including delayed construction, procurement and/or engineering deliverables.
• Assists in development and implementation of project planning procedures appropriate for the project, which are in compliance with company and client requirements.
• Ensures that Project Controls deliverables are satisfied and Project Control Systems and procedures are implemented.

Education requirements for the Planner/Scheduler position:

• Four year degree in engineering/construction/business or related field or equivalent combinations of technical training or experience.

Experience requirements for the Planner/Scheduler position:

• 5-10 years experience in planning.
• Must have working experience with Primavera v6 or higher.
• Must have working experience with MS Project.
• Knowledge of subsea EPCI projects required.
• Strong background in the offshore oil and gas industry preferred.
