Pipeline and Midstream Asset Compliance Engineer

We have partnered with a Global Oil and Gas Industry leader that is looking for a Pipeline and Midstream Asset Compliance Engineer.

The Pipeline and Midsteam Asset compliance Engineer position will be based in Houston. The ideal candidate for this role possesses a strong understanding of all sectors of the energy business.

PIPELINE AND MIDSTREAM ASSET COMPLIANCE ENGINEER RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Have and maintain a strong knowledge of pipeline and midstream asset compliance
• Performing internal compliacy audits and participate in Compliance Agency Audits
• Develop and execute PSM plan according to OSHA Title 29 CFR 1910.119 and RMP according to EPA 40 CFR Part 68
• Collaborate and facilitate activities with midstream, interstate pipeline and LNG terminals management teams
• Create and maintain compliance manuals dealing with some of the following categories, operations and maintenance, safety and risk management and emercency response plans

PIPELINE AND MIDSTREAM ASSET COMPLIANCE ENGINEER REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field
• NACE Certification is preferred but not required
• Five plus years' experience in the midstream industry with a focus on technical support maintaining compliance with CFR Title 49 Part 195 (with PSM Standard and RMP Rule required) and working knowledge of CFR Title 49 Part 192
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Must have knowledge of midstream assets and exposure with industry standards such as API, ASME and NACE.
• Require minimal supervision in completing duties
