Pipeline Accounting Manager

We have partnered with a Global Oil and Gas Industry leader that is looking for a Pipline Accounting Manager.

The Pipeline Accounting Manage position will be based in Houston. The ideal candidate for this role possesses a strong understanding of all sectors of the energy business and relevant US GAAP and FERC Statutory accounting standards.

PIPELINE ACCOUNTING MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop recurring manage financial report formats
• Prepare FERC quarterly financial statements and organize FERC filing efforts and support year-end audit activities
• Preform monthly close on account reconciliations, account analysis and financial audit supporting schedules
• Develop and maintain monthly Hyperion Planning forecasting and budgeting activies

PIPELINE ACCOUNTING MANAGER REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's Degree in Acconting or related field and CPA are both required
• CMA and/or MBA is a plus
• Eight years experience in corporate accounting, operations/plant accounting, forecasting and budgeting and external auditing
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Exposure to Hyperion Essbase/Smartview and Hyperion Planning and Oracle v12 ERP system
