Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting

We have partnered with a Global Oil and Gas Industry leader that is looking for a Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting.

The Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting position will be based in Houston. The ideal candidate for this role possesses knowledge or US General Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP) and knowledge energy business is preferred.

SENIOR ACCOUNTANT, FINANCIAL REPORTING RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare comprehensive income, equity/partners' capital and cash flow statements
• Assist with SEC requirements and filings
• Record companies share-based compensation activity
• Support and prepare EPS and EPU calculations
• Conduct risk-based GAAP analysis by comparing monthly and quarterly financial statements

SENIOR ACCOUNTANT, FINANCIAL REPORTING REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field. CPA or actively pursuing a CPA license is required
• Two plus years' work experience doing financial reporting in an accounting position
• Willing to learn US GAAP and SEC financial statement and disclosure reporting requirements
