Financial Analyst

We have partnered with a Global Oil and Gas Industry leader that is looking for a Financial Analyst.

The Financial Analyst position will be based in Houston. The ideal candidate for this role possesses a strong understanding of all sectors of the energy business.

FINANCIAL ANALYST RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Have and maintain a strong understanding of the natural gas and LNG market
• Create and maintain financial models to utilize for analysis of investment decisions
• Identify merger and acquisitions trends in the industry in order to write studies, analyze data and create decision tools
• Ability to identify and complete analysis of new opportunities for corporate growth
• Champion the development and maintenance of models, databases and tools to internal and external stakeholders

FINANCIAL ANALYST REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's Degree in finance, economics or a related field
• Two plus years' experience in investment banking, corporate finance or mergers and acquisitions
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (especially with modeling and analysis in Excel as well as presentations in PowerPoint)
• Strong presentation skills are required
• Exposure to Monte Carlo, VBA and working with Bloomberg is a plus
• Must be able to meet deadlines in an accurate and timely manner
