Tug Boat Mate (Contract)

We have partnered with a Full Service Maritime Company. Faststream is searching for a 1st Mate with line haul towing experience in Alaskan waters.

We will need this Mate to be responsible for:

• Supervise and coordinate activities of the crew aboard the tug boat.
• Inspects towing gear and lifesaving equipment.
• Orders crew to repair or replace defective equipment.

We will need this Mate to have the following requirements:

• Line Haul Towing Experience
• Experience in Alaskan Waters
• Proper licensing and certifications

This person must have a desire to learn and get involved in new and novel areas. This is necessary for success with Faststream and our client.
