Responsibilities

As deputy to the Chief Engineer, you’ll oversee daily operations of the technical department and lead the engineering team, ensuring all engine room machinery is tested, maintained, and fully compliant with regulations. You’ll also manage SOLAS equipment testing, maintenance records, asset planning, and liaison with shore teams.

Requirements

• Chief Engineer Unlimited Certificate of Competency (CoC)
• STCW High Voltage Management certification
• Experience as a Hotel Engineer or Ship’s Services Engineer is required
• Cruise ship experience essential
• Strong technical background and hands-on problem-solving skills
• Natural communicator with proven leadership abilities
• Self-motivated, dependable, and team-oriented
