As Technical Superintendent, you will oversee the day to day operational, technical and financial management of the assigned yacht fleet, acting as the key point of contact between owners, crew, suppliers and shore based teams.

This is a highly relationship driven position requiring diplomacy, professionalism and the ability to build trust with high profile yacht owners and onboard teams.

Alongside technical oversight, you will coordinate refits, drydock projects, maintenance activities and operational planning, ensuring vessels are maintained to the highest standards while remaining compliant, efficient and within budget.

You will also play an important role in supporting the future growth and development of the yachting division.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily technical and operational management of assigned yachts • Act as the primary contact for owners, crew, suppliers and external stakeholders • Coordinate maintenance, repairs, refits and drydock projects • Monitor operational budgets, OPEX and project expenditure • Ensure compliance with statutory, class and ISM requirements • Support crewing coordination alongside internal teams • Provide technical guidance and support to onboard personnel • Maintain strong communication with yacht owners and senior stakeholders • Support long term fleet growth and operational development initiatives

Requirements

• Previous experience within yachting, cruise or commercial vessel operations • Shore based Technical Superintendent experience or seagoing engineering background • Strong understanding of yacht systems, maintenance and technical operations • Experience managing refits, drydockings or shipyard projects • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills • Professional, diplomatic and service minded approach • Strong organisational and project coordination ability • Fluent English required, Dutch is advantageous • EU working rights or existing Belgium/EU based profile highly preferred
