This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing Yacht Management company based in Monaco.
The role ensures compliance with customer agreements, budget ownership, workforce planning, engagement, crew retention, and service delivery. This position manages the essential HR, financial, and logistical tasks for a yacht's crew, handling everything from payroll, visas, and travel arrangements to certifications and crew welfare, acting as a vital link between the crew, Captain, and management to ensure smooth operations and compliance with maritime regulations.
Responsibilities
- Ensures all duties and responsibilities are carried out in accordance with VMS, national and international statutory requirements.
- Works closely with the Head of Yacht Management to ensure service delivery as per customer contracts.
- Crew scheduling/planning as agreed with Yacht Captain and Yacht Manager.
- Onboarding & Offboarding: Preparing documentation (SEAs, contracts), booking flights, arranging visas, and managing check-in/out procedures.
- Payroll & Finance: Processing salaries, managing crew expenses, handling bank accounts, and submitting financial reports.
- Compliance: Ensuring crew certificates (STCW) are valid and managing required documentation.
- Logistics: Arranging travel, accommodation, and managing crew mail.
- Crew Support: Serving as a first point of contact for crew queries, providing welfare support, and managing career guidance.
- Database Management: Updating crew information and maintaining records in yacht management systems.
- Owns and manages the Vessel budget, including annual renewals, negotiation with customers and reporting.
- Ensures compliance with maritime regulations, flag state requirements, and industrial relations for assigned fleets.
Requirements
- Maritime and Yachting industry experience.
- Proven customer service mindset and ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to Detail for documentation and compliance.
- Strong collaboration and influencing skills to drive change and improvement.
- Ability to manage budgets, reports, and performance KPIs effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, with an ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Good technology and data analysis proficiency.
- 3 years in a role within the Yachting industry (preferred).
- Must be fluent in English (Written & Spoken); additional languages are a plus.
You must have the right to work in the EU to be considered.
