DPA/CSO (Yachts)

This is an excellent opportunity to join an international yacht management company based in their Monaco office.

Responsibilities

As DPA/CSO, you will monitor the company’s maritime HSEQ and compliance related policies, procedures and standards for the managed fleet of vessels. You will be an integral part of the yacht management department, as well as carrying out internal audits onboard and ashore. You will be responsible for ensuring the safe operation of your designated fleet of vessels and will be an essential link between the crew and shore.

Requirements

• Sailed as a Deck Officer on large yachts
• Previous shore based experience in a maritime compliance role (desirable)
• Excellent knowledge of maritime codes & conventions
• Superyacht industry experience
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect and build strong relationships with crew and colleagues.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure
• ISM Lead Auditor or DPA certifications are desirable but not essential
