We are seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to join a technical team supporting a commercial fleet in either Greece or Romania. This is a key position with direct impact on vessel reliability, safety and long term asset performance. You will act as the subject matter expert across all electrical and electronic systems, working closely with vessel teams, superintendents, suppliers and OEMs to ensure safe and efficient operations across the fleet.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical authority for all electrical systems including HV generation, propulsion, automation and navigation • Analyse maintenance data and failure trends to implement long term asset reliability strategies • Lead investigations and close out of electrical incidents, audits and non conformities • Support procurement with sourcing of specialist parts and technical services • Manage electrical projects, retrofits and dry dock scopes including on site attendance • Conduct vessel visits to monitor system performance and equipment condition • Promote safety culture through risk assessments, reporting and HESS initiatives • Participate in emergency response activities and support fleet wide operational readiness

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering • Previous experience as an Electrical Superintendent or senior ETO • Minimum 5 years sea going experience in an electrical or electro technical role • Strong knowledge of ship power systems, automation, navigation equipment and regulatory frameworks (SOLAS, Class) • Proven experience managing complex marine electrical systems • Strong communication skills in English and ability to work across teams • Experience within commercial shipping environments • Proactive, detail focused and adaptable approach in a fast paced industry
