We are working with an international Marine Interiors specialist who is expanding their project delivery team, they are now looking for a Junior Project Manager to support ongoing and future projects. As a Junior Project Manager, you will work closely with experienced Project Managers and senior stakeholders, gradually taking ownership of defined work packages. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to international shipyard operations.

Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and execution of marine refurbishment projects
  • Assist with project schedules, budgets, and reporting
  • Coordinate daily activities with subcontractors, site teams, and internal departments
  • Participate in client meetings and progress reviews
  • Monitor quality, safety, and delivery milestones on site
  • Support logistics, materials planning, and change management
  • Gradually take increased responsibility as experience and confidence grow
  • Represent the company professionally on international project sites

Requirements

This role is suited to someone at an early stage of their project management career, ideally with exposure to marine, shipbuilding, construction, or technical project environments.

You may already have:

  • 1–2 years’ experience in a project coordinator, junior PM, site engineer, or similar role
  • OR a technical / operational background and a clear ambition to move into project management

You should bring:

  • A structured and organised approach to work
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • The ability to remain calm and focused in demanding environments
  • Willingness to travel internationally
  • Professional English language skills (other languages are an advantage)
  • Motivation to learn, develop, and grow into a full Project Manager role
