Estimator – Interior Outfitting

We are partnered with an award-winning, premium-quality interior solutions provider who is looking for an experienced Estimator to join their ranks. This role is designed to support business growth trajectory, as well as strengthen their commercial process, supporting multiple live bids while working closely with project and delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop accurate and competitive cost plans for multiple tenders running in parallel

• Produce detailed pricing breakdowns covering materials, labour, preliminaries, and subcontract packages

• Engage with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations and maintain strong commercial relationships

• Support pre-contract negotiations and post-tender clarifications

• Work collaboratively with Quantity Surveyors and project teams, including attending site visits where required

• Ensure all tender submissions are complete, compliant, and submitted within deadline

• Manage subcontractor procurement and associated documentation

• Review main contract terms and provide commercial and contractual input to delivery teams

• Prepare cost value reconciliations (CVRs), cost reports, and final accounts

• Contribute to value engineering exercises and identify commercial risks and mitigation strategies

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline

• At least one year of relevant industry experience within construction, fit-out, joinery, or interiors

• Strong numerical, analytical, and commercial reasoning skills

• Confident interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and contract documentation

• Comfortable working to deadlines across multiple workstreams

• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams

• Competent IT skills and experience working with estimating and reporting tools
