On behalf of a vessel owner, operating worldwide, Faststream are recruiting for a Chief Officer DPO position to work on a new build vessel in Norway.

The role…

You will initially join the current fleet and sail as Chief Officer DPO on 4 week on/off rotations until late 2015. From January 2016, for a period of 6 months, you will work from a Norwegian ship yard completing the final stages of the new build vessel. This will include DP trials, Sea trails and all other duties associated with new build vessel completion. Finally you will be on-board for the vessels delivery voyage to West Africa.


The ideal candidate would meet the following requirements:

Chief Officer Unlimited COC
Full DP Certificate
BOSIET
Valid Medical
STCW basic certificates
Previous experience in rank on a DP2 vessel
Previous new build vessel experience in a ship yard

This role offers a long term contract with a view to a permanent role. The salary on offer will depend on your previous experience.
