Chief Engineer - Rotational

The Company

Our client is private luxury +55m yacht with an exciting world cruising schedule planned. After recent changes on the yacht they are looking to bring in a rotational Chief Engineer to join the yacht later this year. This is the ideal opportunity for someone looking to step into a rotational long term position on a successful yacht.

The Role

The position will see you participating in the following:
- Running the day to day operations of the engine room and supervising the 2nd Engineer.
- Ensuring all safety, operational and commercial procedures are followed.
- Working with Captain to ensure all departments on the yacht are updated and working together.

The Person

The ideal candidate for this position will be an enthusiastic quick learner with the following qualifications:
- Minimum Y2 or equivalent.
- Highly organised and professional.
- Previous yacht based experience ideally with Caterpillar Engines.
- Solid IT/AV knowledge.
- Valid B1/B2 Visa.
