I have an exciting and rare opportunity with a unique insurer that specialise in professional liability claims for the insurance market. The Claims Manager role involves overseeing high-value, complex, and often litigated professional liability claims against insurance intermediaries such as brokers and MGAs. The position requires providing expert legal and technical advice, assessing liability, coordinating with policyholders and external counsel, and ensuring the efficient resolution of disputes. It also includes keeping underwriters informed, monitoring legal and industry developments, contributing to risk management initiatives, and participating in internal meetings to review major claims.
Responsibilities
The Claims Manager role involves overseeing high-value, complex, and often litigated professional liability claims against insurance intermediaries such as brokers and MGAs.
