Assistant Marine Superintendent

We are seeking an experienced RoPax Officer to commence the role of Assistant Marine Superintendent for an Inter Island RoPax Fleet, this position is available now with a flexible start date. This is a rotational position, working either 2, 3 or 4 week on:off. Weekdays are generally office based working with crewing, SMS review, legislation, compliance etc, with weekends being a little quieter for vessel visits, internal audits, etc. You would be working alongside the Marine Superintendent and between the two you would double up as DPA. Accommodation is provided shore side along with £20 per day subsistence. Candidates must hold a valid driving licence as a hire car will your mode of transport on the islands. Flights for joining/leaving are arranged by the client and travel to and from the airport is reimbursed. Full PPE and uniform supplied. Day rate is subject to UK deductions. A minimum of 6 months commitment is required although in reality the position is likely to remain in place long term.

Requirements: UK Master 500 near coastal minimum, ideally Master unlimited, UK right to work, strong recent RoPax experience.
