Dredging Works Manager - Permanent or Contract
Select Offshore are currently looking to speak to Dredging Works Managers that are available to join a newly assembled team within one of the world's largest EPC oil and gas corporations.
The Dredging Works Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing all dredging operations to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget. This includes managing dredging vessels and equipment, supervising on-site teams, liaising with clients and regulatory authorities, and ensuring compliance with environmental and safety standards. The role involves preparing project schedules, progress reports, and technical documentation while maintaining efficient communication between marine operations, engineering, and shore-based support teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day dredging operations, including deployment of vessels, crew, and equipment.
Oversee project planning, execution, and completion in line with contract specifications.
Monitor dredging progress, productivity, and environmental performance.
Ensure compliance with HSE policies, marine regulations, and environmental requirements.
Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and port or marine authorities.
Prepare operational reports, schedules, and cost forecasts.
Lead and mentor on-site teams to ensure efficient and safe operations.
Contract: 60 days on / 30 days off, paid during off rotation, medical insurance and rotational flight tickets.
Permanent: Full-time salaried employee with relocation to the head office in Abu Dhabi.
Relocation support for permanent positions includes visa for you and your family, return flights, medical insurance (family package), and schooling allowance (up to three children).
Minimum requirements for this position are:
Bachelor's and/or Master's in Engineering or equivalent.
10–12 years of experience with dredging and reclamation projects, including capital dredging (not limited to maintenance dredging).
Language Requirements
Good knowledge of the English language is required.
