Team Leader Harbour Master - Onshore

We currently seek a Team Leader Harbour Master for our prestigious Client.
The position would suit a Master Mariner who is looking to move to an Onshore position.
Candidates must hold Certificate of Competence (COC) as Deck Officer Class 1 (Master Mariner), Harbour Master Diploma or equivalent.

We would invite applications from candidates with 5 or more years experience within the ports and/or maritime industries. Experience of handling vessels within a large harbour area that includes pilotage, VTS and Aids to Navigation. Experience of the Port Marine Safety Code. Experience of implementing and/or managing Safety Management Systems in a Safety Critical Environment subject to external audit. Track record of service delivery. Experience of project management and delivery.

Position will be based onshore in Shetland.
Start Date: 18th June 2015
Salary: £47,684.64 - £49,808.37 per year
Hours: 37 hours per week
