Our client is looking for a seasoned logistics professional to oversee the planning and execution of material movements for vessel dry docks and large-scale technical projects. This position ensures all supplies, equipment, and resources arrive on time and in full, while coordinating closely with vendors, contractors, and internal teams. The role is both strategic and hands-on, requiring strong project management skills and the ability to troubleshoot challenges in fast-moving environments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the selection and daily oversight of on-site logistics partners, including third-party providers.
  • Establish clear performance targets and project success criteria.
  • Build and manage schedules for shipping deadlines, tracking exceptions, and resolving delays.
  • Coordinate material logistics for all dry dock and project phases, from planning to execution.
  • Communicate timelines and progress updates across internal teams and external partners.
  • Develop processes for returns and reverse logistics, and run post-project reviews to capture learnings.
  • Foster effective working relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Extensive travel involved to international Dry Dock Projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or Finance (Master’s preferred).
  • 5–8 years of experience in material logistics, with a track record of working alongside third-party contractors and direct employees.
  • Advanced skills in Excel and proficiency with standard business software.
  • Familiarity with port or maritime operations is an advantage.
