Tanker Operator

Fantastic opportunity with an expanding off-shore company. The successful candidate will be part of the chartering and operations team and will be expected to provide day-to-day supervision of the operational performance of tanker vessels.

The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:
• Holder of a 2nd Mate's license on tanker vessels or any other equivalent license
• Member of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers or holder of a Merchant Marine University degree (or from an equivalent institute or organization) will be considered an advantage
• At least 2 years of previous experience in a similar position
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
• High sense of initiative, professionalism and responsibility
• Ability to work under pressure
• Excellent command of the written and spoken English language
