- Coordinate and monitor vessel performance, ensuring vessels operate safely, reliably, and efficiently.
- Lead selection, management, and evaluation of key technical service providers, contractors, and spare parts suppliers.
- Ensure full compliance with ISM Code, class, flag state, and other statutory requirements.
- Support and guide vessel crew on technical issues; visit vessels when required.
- Work closely with senior management on fleet expansion, budgeting, and CAPEX planning.
- Contribute to the company’s digitalization efforts and continuous improvement culture
Requirements

- At least 7–10 years of relevant experience in technical management of bulk carriers (ideally with prior experience establishing or restructuring a technical department).
- Recent experience working with modern engines with electric propulsion systems
- Have experience of working with Newbuilds and/or taking delivery of new vessels
- Deep knowledge of planned maintenance systems, class and flag requirements, and maritime regulations.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills; ability to set up processes and manage a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a hands-on and proactive attitude.
- Fluency in English (spoken and written); knowledge of Greek is a plus.
- Willingness to travel as required.
Why Join:
- Be part of a new, ambitious project from the very beginning.
- Significant responsibility, autonomy, and opportunity to make a real impact.
- Work alongside experienced and passionate maritime professionals.
- Competitive remuneration package and growth potential.
