Job Description

We are looking for a lecturer for a university in the United Arab Emirates.
As a lecturer of the Maritime Transport Program you support the management as needed. You teaches various subjects such as navigation, cargo operations and bridge management, fitting the requirements of STCW II/I.

Requirements

  • valid unlimited nautical licence
  • valid certificates acc. to STCW´95
  • Master of Science or equivalent Master level
  • Experience of oil/gas operations, dynamic positioning, and simulation training desirable but not absolutely necessary
  • english spoken and written
  • ability to work in a team, open-mindedness, sensitivity towards different cultures

Work Experience Requirements

All applicants must have previous experience in working on ships.

Language Requirements

Good knowledge of the English language is required.
