Ventilation Officer

Seaworthy Consulting are looking for candidates with marine engineering background to become a Ventilation Officer for a cruise ship fleet. Successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining the ship's ventilation, main AC water chiller systems and domestic refrigeration plant.

Experience:

Knowledge/worked with – screw systems and central fugal systems.

Knowledge of refrigeration plant systems – AC water chiller system.

Managed large teams – efficient time management skills, delegation and management skills.

Rotation – 3 months on/off.

Location – worldwide (vessel/location assigned after training is completed).

Salary – depends on engineering experience.

Start date – flexible (joining can take 1–3 months to cover training and completion of additional certs).

Client will cover all training including STCW, FGAS and any future ticket revalidation.

Candidate will get 2–4 weeks handover depending on experience.
