Senior Rotating Equipment Engineer (Contract)

Faststream Recruitment are working with the ADNOC group, the national oil company for the UAE. The group encompasses a number of entities covering all aspects of Oil & Gas from E&P to Refining, Distribution and Retail, operating some of the largest projects in the market.

Due to continued success and high levels of activity, a Senior Rotating Equipment Engineer is required to join Abu Dhabi Gas Liquefaction Company (ADGAS), a major and growing part ADNOC and the regional market leader in LNG and LPG production.

The successful applicant will be based in the Integrity and Quality division of the company, working on the company site at Das Island, offshore Abu Dhabi. This will be a residential position (5 days on Das Island, 2 days in Abu Dhabi) with all accommodation and messing provided whilst on Das Island.
Main duties will include;

-Analysis, diagnostics and solving of machinery issues, putting across successful solutions and ensuring successful implementation

-Monitoring and maximising performance of Rotating Machinery, consistently focusing on the delivery of a high performance and improvement culture, including the use of reliability management systems

-Provision of technical support for existing equipment and recommendations for new technology

ADGAS are looking for a highly competent individual with market leading experience within the LNG sector to bring to the project. A BSc in Engineering or other relevant subject is required, alongside demonstrable success whilst in a supervisory position. Formal training in condition monitoring, and preference will be given to those with experience on Operating Plants, involved in fault finding, diagnostics, performance improvements and Quality or Asset Maintenance backgrounds.
