Senior Contracts Engineer (Contract)

Faststream Recruitment are working with the ADNOC group, the national oil company for the UAE. The group encompasses a number of entities covering all aspects of Oil & Gas from E&P to Refining, Distribution and Retail, operating some of the largest projects in the market.

Due to continued success and high levels of activity, a Senior Contracts Engineer is required to join Abu Dhabi Gas Liquefaction Company (ADGAS), a major and growing part ADNOC and the regional market leader in LNG and LPG production.

The successful applicant will be based in the company HQ in Abu Dhabi. This will be a residential position with an attractive and comprehensive bonus and benefits package. The working week will be Saturday-Wednesday (5 days)

Main duties will include;

- Advising on, coordinating and executing the preparation of complex tender documents, evaluation of tenders received and production of contract documents
- Post contract negotiations for LNG Plant projects, ensuring requirements of the company are met
- Provision of professional advise at supervisory level on contracting and tendering strategies
- Training of junior staff where required


ADGAS are looking for a highly competent individual with market leading experience within the LNG sector to bring to the project. A BSc in Engineering or other relevant subject is required, alongside demonstrable success whilst in a supervisory position. Candidates background should include Commercial and Technical development of contracts, whilst preference will be given to applicants with supervisory and especially Gulf region experience.
