Maintenance Manager

We are the global leader in Oil and Gas recruitment and consulting, providing our clients with permanent and project based solutions. We employ a team of 140 professionals globally with operations in the United Kingdom, Singapore, and the United States (Houston and Florida). We have partnered with a global chemical manufacturer in their search for a Maintenance Manager for their Ohio plant. The Maintenance Manager will manage and administer the Maintenance Department and Plant Small Capital Projects to include: Safety, efficiency, reliability, profitability, training and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities for the Maintenance Manager:

  • Assist in planning, organizing, and the administration of plant capital budget.
  • Select, control, and administer maintenance equipment and facilities.
  • Administer and direct preventive and predictive maintenance programs
  • Plan and monitor maintenance personnel training.
  • Assist in planning long and short term capital and operating budgets
  • Coordinate maintenance services with other plant departments.
  • Assure maintenance of adequate operating equipment, spare equipment, and replacement parts.
  • Maintain a good labor-management relationship.
  • Assure records, and equipment history data.
  • Data entries in plant CMMS.

Requirements for the Maintenance Manager:

  • A degree in maintenance related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years working experience in chemical plant facility.
  • A minimum of 5 years in a maintenance related supervisory position.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, good communication skills.
  • Centralized Maintenance Management System experience preferred. (SAP or Equal)
