Base NDT Technician (HR14289)

The function

Overall Objective:
To support in the overall delivery of the Group’s business objectives, by providing high standards of inspection execution to the STS Client base.

Job Scope:
Responsible for carrying out non-destructive examination works utilizing the required techniques in accordance with relevant company and or client supplied procedures / acceptance criteria.

Major Focus:

• Select the NDT technique for the testing equipment and method to be performed
• Set up and verify equipment settings;
• Perform and supervise tests;
• Define the limitations of application of the testing method
• Interpret and evaluate results according to applicable standards, codes or specifications;
• Carry out and supervise all tasks at or below level 2;
• Completing inspection reports.
• Provide guidance for personnel at or below level 2, and organise and report the results of non-destructive tests.
• Supporting and liaising with the clients.
