2nd Engineer

The Company

Our client is private luxury +60m yacht with an international crew. With a busy summer season of cruising planned, they are looking for a hands on 2nd Engineer to join their vibrant team.

The Role

The position will see you participating in the following:
- Carrying out day to day duties as assigned by the Chief Engineer and/or Captain.
- Ensuring all safety, operational and commercial procedures are followed.
- Preparing the yacht for the busy summer season of cruising ahead and leaving the yard.

The Person

The ideal candidate for this position will be an enthusiastic quick learner with the following qualifications:
- MEOL or Equivalent
- Current ENG 1
- Previous yacht based experience is an asset
- Good working knowledge of AV/IT Equipment
